Paul Devins
Paul Devins began his musical training in classical music, studying successively at the conservatories of Besançon and Poitiers.
He then expanded his education in jazz at the E.J.M.A. in Lausanne before earning a CFC in wind instrument repair in Yverdon under the mentorship of a master repairer. In 1994, he founded the Paul Devins Workshop.
A true music enthusiast since childhood, Paul Devins takes pride in offering personalized service to his clients. More than just selling and repairing instruments, he always takes the time to provide advice and answer questions.
With music at the heart of his life and as a member of several bands and ensembles, he treasures connecting with fellow musicians. Each repair is a unique challenge, and he enjoys devising tailored solutions to the issues brought to him, always striving to learn from every experience.
Benoît Panchaud
Benoît Panchaud earned his CFC as a wind instrument maker in 2013 after completing his apprenticeship with Paul Devins. He then spent several years working abroad, first in Edinburgh with double reed specialist Andrew May, and later in St. Petersburg at the Dotsenko & Co. Workshop, which services the instruments of the city’s many prestigious orchestras. During this time, he gained invaluable experience working with demanding musicians.
A perfectionist and passionate about his craft, Benoît also offers numerous instrument modifications and customizations tailored to musicians’ needs.
